Gambling as Entertainment, Not Escape

What we genuinely believe — and how we back it up

Gambling IS
Entertainment, fun, a leisure activity with an affordable budget
Gambling Is NOT
A way to earn income, recover losses, or cope with personal problems
"At pussyy, we believe that a great gaming experience starts with player wellbeing. Every feature we build — from deposit limits to session timers — reflects our conviction that entertainment and responsibility are not competing values. They are the same thing."
— Pussyy Player Protection Team

Pussyy serves hundreds of thousands of players across Malaysia — from Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya to Penang, Johor Bahru, and Shah Alam. With reach comes responsibility. We have invested significantly in responsible gambling infrastructure because we understand that a small number of players may develop difficulties with gambling, and those players deserve meaningful, accessible support — not just fine print.

This page explains exactly what tools are available to you, how to access them, and where to turn if you — or someone you know — needs support. Everything on this page applies to all pussyy members. No special requests, no waiting periods for activating restrictions. If you need a tool to protect yourself, it is available immediately.

We also strictly enforce our 21+ age policy. Online gambling is not appropriate for anyone under 21, and we deploy active age verification at registration and ongoing monitoring to uphold this requirement. If you are under 21, please do not attempt to register on pussyy.

Tools Available on Your Account

All tools are free, instant, and accessible from your account settings at any time.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, per week, or per month in MYR. Once your limit is reached, the cashier will decline further deposits until the period resets. Reductions take effect immediately. Increases are subject to a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period to prevent impulsive escalation.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum net loss you are comfortable with over any rolling period. Once your loss limit is reached, further wagering is paused automatically until the period resets. This tool is particularly useful for players who find it difficult to step away during a losing run.

Session Time Reminders

Set a maximum session duration and pussyy will display a reminder when your chosen time is up. A consistent awareness of time spent is one of the simplest and most effective responsible gambling habits. Reminders are available from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Cool-Off Period

Request a cool-off break of 24 hours, 72 hours, or 7 days. During a cool-off, your account remains open but you cannot deposit, wager, or claim bonuses. You may still withdraw any existing balance. Ideal if you feel your play is becoming more frequent than you intended.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion closes your account for a defined period — 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, 1 year, or permanently. Exclusions take effect immediately upon confirmation. During the exclusion period, attempts to log in will be blocked and marketing communications will cease. This cannot be reversed within the chosen period.

Promotional Opt-Out

You may opt out of all bonus offers, promotional emails, SMS communications, and in-platform pop-up offers at any time. This includes VIP event invitations and loyalty programme notifications. Opt-out is immediate and does not affect your ability to play or your existing account balance.

To activate any of these tools, visit Account Settings on the Website or contact our live chat support team. All tools are implemented immediately upon request — no delays, no callbacks required.

Guidelines for Healthy Play

Following these principles will help ensure that gambling remains a positive, controlled form of entertainment for you.

"The most important thing about gambling is knowing exactly how much you are willing to lose before you start — and sticking to it no matter what happens."

01
Set a Budget Before You Start

Decide on a fixed MYR amount you are comfortable losing before each session. Treat this as the cost of your entertainment — like a cinema ticket or a dinner out. When it is gone, the session is over.

02
Never Chase Losses

Increasing your bets to recover losses is one of the most dangerous gambling behaviours. Losses are part of the game. Accept them, and walk away rather than escalating. No bet is guaranteed to win back what you have lost.

03
Keep Time in Check

Use pussyy's session reminder tools. It is easy to lose track of time when you are watching live football or playing Baccarat — use built-in timers to stay aware of how long you have been playing.

04
Gamble Sober and in a Good Headspace

Avoid gambling when you are tired, stressed, emotionally distressed, or under the influence of alcohol. Impaired judgement leads to impulsive decisions. Your best gambling sessions happen when you are clear-headed and calm.

05
Balance Gambling with Other Activities

Gambling should be one of many leisure activities in your life — not the primary one. Maintain strong relationships, hobbies, and activities outside of gaming. If gambling is displacing other interests, that is a signal worth noting.

06
Understand the Odds

All casino games have a built-in house edge. Sports betting outcomes are uncertain. There is no system, strategy, or pattern that guarantees long-term profit. Play for the experience, not the expectation of consistent winnings.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Recognising these signs in yourself or someone you care about is the first step toward getting help. There is no shame in acknowledging that gambling has become a problem.

Spending Beyond Your Means

Regularly depositing amounts you cannot afford to lose, borrowing money to gamble, or using essential household funds for betting.

Chasing Losses Compulsively

Feeling compelled to keep playing after a loss in order to win back money, regardless of how late it is or how much has already been lost.

Hiding Your Gambling Activity

Concealing the amount of time or money spent gambling from family, friends, or a partner because you know they would be concerned.

Gambling to Relieve Stress

Using gambling as a primary way to cope with negative emotions, stress, anxiety, loneliness, or boredom rather than as a leisure activity.

Inability to Stop or Cut Back

Repeatedly attempting to reduce or stop gambling and failing, or feeling irritable and restless when trying to cut down.

Neglecting Responsibilities

Missing work, study commitments, or family obligations because of gambling, or prioritising gambling over important personal relationships.

If you recognise any of these signs in your own behaviour, please use pussyy's self-exclusion tool immediately and reach out to one of the support organisations listed below. You are not alone, and help is available.

A Quick Self-Assessment

Reflect honestly on these questions. There are no right or wrong answers — only honest ones. This is not a diagnostic tool, but a starting point for self-reflection.

If you answer "Yes" to three or more of these questions, we encourage you to speak with a professional counsellor or contact one of the support resources listed on this page.

1
Have you ever gambled with money that was meant for essential expenses like rent, groceries, or bills?
2
Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently, even when you are doing other things?
3
Have you tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult or impossible to follow through?
4
Do you gamble more when you are stressed, anxious, or feeling low — as a way to feel better?
5
Have you lied to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling?
6
Have you borrowed money or sold personal belongings to fund your gambling?
7
Do you feel the need to bet with increasingly larger amounts of money to get the same level of excitement?
8
Has gambling caused significant problems in your relationships, work performance, or financial situation?
Remember: Honest answers matter most. If several of these questions resonate with your experience, that is important information. Reach out to pussyy support or a counselling service listed below — there is no judgment, only help.

Protecting Minors — Strict 21+ Policy

Pussyy operates a strict 21+ age policy with zero exceptions. Online gambling is an adult entertainment service and is entirely inappropriate for anyone under the age of 21. The following measures are in place to prevent underage access:

  • Age confirmation is required at registration. All new accounts are subject to age verification checks before any deposit or wagering can occur.
  • Document-based KYC verification is applied to all accounts before withdrawal of winnings. Age cannot be faked through the verification process.
  • Pussyy actively monitors for behavioural indicators that may suggest an account is being used by a minor and will suspend such accounts immediately pending investigation.
  • We encourage all parents and guardians to use parental control software to restrict access to online gambling websites on devices accessible to children and teenagers.

If you suspect that a person under 21 has registered on pussyy or is using an account, please contact our support team via live chat immediately. We take underage access reports extremely seriously and will investigate and act without delay.
